Silk of the Sea

 This blog has lain dormant for some time, due mostly to my getting busy with repair/renovation projects around the house as well as to getting back into more active gaming, with two different online groups that I once played with in person.  I do mean to get back and finish out my sailing rules, and maybe revisit some of my earlier posts with tides, waves, etc to clean them up a little.  Ideally, I'd like to post a couple of seafaring type adventures where these rules come together in a way that matters, rather than just looking at them as curiosities.

But for now, I'm going to offer up a real-world luxury item that could be a fantasy world trade good.
